Lacto Vegetarian meals?
ok recently i hve decided to commit to being a lacto vegetarian (no meat or eggs). so anyway i am 12-14 and i cant buy my own groceries. my parents arent very supportive of being a vegetarian (they are big meat and seafood lovers). so my mom isnt going to go out of her way to buy me vegetarian meals that i will only eat. (5 pple family) so anyway here is my basic weekly meal plan. (in no particular order) how can i make it vegetarian friendly with out having to buy brand new stuff.
hotdog/hamburger and chips
pizza, salad
mcdonalds
lamp chops, asparagus, green beans
snadwhiche, chips
steak, bake potatoe
pasta
chinese
so uhh please juast take a look at these food items and see wat i could do with them being a lacto vegetarian
Hamburger and chips: Amy’s veggie burger (or any other brand you like, I just think Amy’s is best) with lettuce, tomato, whatever trimmings you like, a slice of cheese and some chips on the side.
Pizza and salad: Easy enough, veggie pizza and use a vinagrette dressing on the salad (ranch has eggs).
McDonalads: I really can’t help you here as I’ve never eaten at McDonalds but trust me, you’re better off without that junk.
Sandwich: You can make all kinds of yummy cheese and veggie combo sandwiches, that shouldn’t be hard at all.
Pasta: Most any pasta dish is lacto-vegetarian friendly; just be sure you read the pasta ingredients because some use eggs.
Chinese: Try Thai food or Indian food instead.
And as for home cooking type meals such as lamb chops and steak, just make yourself a meal of the side dishes. A baked potato with sour cream, cheddar and chives can be a main course. Have it with some pasta salad and steamed veggies.
